Cool and dry weather for the whole week has started to effect the levels on the River, but there is plenty of fishing moving through the system.
Six fish caught at the beginning of the week including Mark Walton and Sean Maye both with 7lb fish on the Fly. Chris Kitchen took a 9lb fish on the worm and Michael Kitchen followed with a 7lb fish also on the worm.
Kevin Flynn raised the bar though with a wonderful 12lb 6oz on the fly and Andrew Pearson raised it even higher with a beautiful 14½lb from the Fly.
After a few quiet days the Bank Holiday weekend proved successful for Clive O’Neill, 9lb on the Fly and Aiden Heffernan with a 7lb fish.
10 released fish over the week meant another successful week, but water levels are beginning to drop due to the lack of rain.
