Fishing Report April 8th – April 14th 2019

Cool dry weather this week meant excellent conditions for our members and visitors.

Thomas O’Donovan Jnr started the week with a nice 6lb on the Fly fish, caught at the Falls and visitors David Canning and Damien Crawford followed suit up river with worm caught fish, 6lb and 9lb respectively.

Michael Martin pushed the bar higher catching a beautiful 11lb Salmon on the Fly and Bernard Harte released a 9lb fish on the same day.

It took Hubert Henry just 20 mins from arriving at Joes Hole to catch and land his 9lb Salmon and later Dermot Glennon got his first of the season, 10.5lb on the Fly.

Two successful visitors left happy with their 10lb and 11lb catches & Michael Mullaney caught his first for this year an 8lb fish on the fly and Sean Maye released a nice 7lb fish.

The river and Falls are looking stunning and the fish are moving well.
