Fishing Report May 8th - 14th 2017

May 8th – All quiet today.
May 9th – One lovely fish caught today weighing 9lb.
May 10th – Ballisodare River is extremely low with bright sunny conditions continuing therefore there is very little to report here this week.
May 11th – Even though the conditions are far from favourable there were three fine fish caught today. A nice 7.5lb and 8lb and a 10lb fish all caught on the worm.
May 12th – Duller weather with showers today with two fish reported one weighing 6.5lb and one weighing 7.5 lb both caught on the worm. One more being released .
May 13th – Overcast conditions with heavy showers was welcome today with Michael Mullaney catching a 7lb fish on the fly and Paddy Beirne catching a nice 12lb fish on the worm. Two more fish released today.
May 14th- One fish reported caught today 6lb on the fly with three more being released average weight 4lb.
