Water Levels Low so slow week at Ballisodare |

Fishing remains very good as water stays at a nice level at Ballisodare. With a good bit of fresh water this week there was a take and a move on the fish. There was very good fishing had this past week with 234 fish caught between the falls and up river with good sport had on both sections, 78 of these were released. |

With an increase in water levels the river has been fishing well with fly being the most productive method for the week. Some good fish have been seen, caught and unfortunately lost. |

Given the conditions for the week there was very good fishing at Ballisodare with 74 fish caught for the week, 28 of which were released. With the river being so low due to a prolonged dry spell, the fishing mainly took place at the falls with worm, fly and prawn each taking good numbers of fish. |
