Fishing report 24th April - 30th April 2017

April 24th- Pauric Monaghan caught a lovely 11.5 lb fish today on the worm while Paddy Owens was equally lucky landing a 10lb fish also on the worm. Three fish released today.
April 25th- Weather cold with heavy showers today so fishermen scarce on the ground. Nothing caught today.
April 26th – With a cold north wind blowing today conditions weren’t favourable. However two fish weighing 8lb and 7lb were caught on the worm up River by Sean Harran and Eamon Ruddy average weight 8lbs, while visiting Angler Colm Lynat released a fish on the fly with three more being released also.
April 27th - Our Club Vice Chairman Denis Crawley caught a 10lb fish on the fly, while Frank Addams released an 8lb fish on the fly. Three more released average weight 5lb all caught on the fly.
April 28th – Quiet Day today.
April 29th- English Angler Andrew Pearson caught a 10.5lb fish with one other being caught today. There were 3 fish released today average weight 7lb.
April 30th - William Diamond an English tourist caught a 6.5 lb fish on the fly with four more being released average weight 5lbs.
